Cricket World Cup 2019 is just few days away and will kick off on 30 May 2019 in England & Wales. Therefore, Pakistan has revealed their Jersey for this summer’s biggest event of Cricket World Cup 2019.

It has the same dark green color with a new addition of light green linings on the front and back.

Pakistan will start their World Cup journey on 31 May against West Indies in Trent Bridge. Pakistan Team’s Squad for World Cup 2019 was finalized after the series against England.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) unveiled their Jersey for Cricket World Cup 2019 on Friday, 3 May. This time it is quite changed and has a better look than the previous version of Cricket World Cup 2015.

This time it is made of recycled ocean plastic material, the waste plastic has been recovered from the beaches of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has taken a great step to raise awareness about proper consumption of plastic in order to save marine species and their habitats. The same initiative has also been taken by India, where NIKE has used recycled polyester material for Indian’s team Jersey.

The yellow and dark blue Sri Lankan jersey showing three turtles on the front of the Kit moving towards the ocean the yellow (color) whereas the lion is engraved on the left shoulder just like 2015 World Cup’s version.

Sri Lanka has also announced their training kit for World Cup 2019.

Sri Lanka’s team main sponsor would be Kent RO, whereas their clothing sponsor would be MAS Holdings for the ICC World Cup 2019.

Sri Lanka would kickoff their World Cup journey against the Black Caps on June 1 in Cardiff.

South Africa board has revealed Jersey for the this month’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. They released the kit just after their announcement of the 15-member squad.

The new beautiful kit for CWC 2019 is light green on the front & back, while dark army green on upper shoulder and sleeves.

Although it’s a bit similar to the previous jersey, still mix up of light green and dark army green give an outstanding look to the outfit.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) tweeted the picture on jersey launching ceremony;

South Africa is one of the most favorite team for winning this Mega contest; South Africa will play their first match in CWC 2019 against the host team England at the Kennington Oval in London on 30 May.

South Africa is in excellent form and eager to mark a history in the upcoming Big event. Their victorious performances in the most recent tours against Sri Lanka and Pakistan were outstanding.

South Africa has won a total of 8 matches out of 10, which show the winning momentum and rhythm in the squad.

In the last World Cup in New Zealand and Australia, South Africa knocked out from the event against New Zealand.

Now in CWC 2019, the fans have many expectations from team South Africa and the skipper Faf du Plessis.

This World cup 2019 likely to be the last world cup for captain Faf Du Plessis, Dale Steyn, the Veterans Hashim Amla. Whereas, JP Duminy and Imran Tahir have already announced their ODI’s retirement after the World cup.

South Africa has all the faith in Hashim Amla. Hashim Amla and Aiden Markram are the leading batsmen in the squad, Quinton de Kock is also in excellent form and could bat at the top of the order with Hashim Amla or Aiden Markram.

Indian Cricket team new Kit for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

Cricket World Cup 2019 is in the offing, JUST a few weeks away, The Indian Cricket Team official apparel partner, Nike, has launched the new jersey for this summer’s mega event of the cricket.

In the launching ceremony held in Hyderabad, players Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Jemimah Rodrigues, Ajinkya Rahane, Harmanpreet Kaur and Prithvi Shaw were the stars showcasing wearing India’s Team new kit for Cricket World Cup 2019.

Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli expressed his excitement at the launch termed it as the best Nike Jersey in last 10 years.

Virat Kohli expressed,
“I can feel the change. It (new jersey) is so light on the body. It is breathable. I feel there is no restriction at all. It is very stretchable, more than the last jersey. I can’t wait to step on the field with this one.”

The prominent feature of the blue jersey is the inscription of India’s World Cup victories inside at the back of the collar. Two ODI World Cup titles and One T20 World Cup title is highlighted along the scores, dates, three starts, and coordinates of the venues.

In recent past years, Nike has been using recycled material for the Indian team jersey. This time Nike has used recycled Polyester which is quite low weighted and lighter.

The same Blue as a primary color and Orange as secondary color has been used, two shades of blue color are used this time, the darker blue covering the chest whereas the lighter spread towards the sleeves and shoulders.

OPPO written in white on the front mid and on the end of the left sleeve is the main sponsor of India cricket team. OPPO has won the bid of sponsorship rights of Indian cricket team for the logo display on the jerseys and has paid a whopping sum of $10.79 billion for the five years from 2017 to 2022.

After logo, “India” is written in capital letters in orange color across the chest on the darker blue shade. Orange lines are spread through the sides and under the collar which the maker termed as country pride.

Look what Mahendra Singh Dhoni had to say about the new jersey,

“You may have many designs, but ultimately, it’s the fabric that really makes you feel comfortable,”

He further added,

“Wearing it (the jersey) right now, it feels so comfortable like you’re not wearing anything at all. It doesn’t weigh you down.”

India team will be seen in the New Jersey on 6 June in their first match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against South Africa in Southampton.
